Welcome to Bedford Microlight Airsports. Situated near the small market town of Sandy, we are a very friendly and active club catering for both flex wing and three axis aircraft. If you are thinking about learning to fly,
or even just interested in aircraft, come along and have a chat. The cafe
is always open at weekend for teas, coffees and hot and cold food.
We are able to offer expert tuition
through Bedford Flight Training which operates from Bedford Microlight
Airsports, Our instructors have many successful years experience as CAA
approved Flying Instructors. We are always delighted to see visiting
pilots. We charge £5 landing fee which includes a hot beverage for both
Pilot and passenger. We have a very active club with about 80
members. We run social events every month. We run fly-outs
throughout the year, including a trip to France. During the summer, we host the Sandy Beach
Party. This is a fly-in event which has attracted up to 150
